How to Compete on eBay

Today I shipped 3 Limited Edition Coca Cola Bottles to China. I made a killing $13.99 off each 6 pack that only cost me $2.50 each from Costco.

When i first started selling Coke on eBay, lots of people seemed to be selling/auctioning the same item as mine. Some merchants were selling their coke for only $3.99 or $5.99. I don't understand how those merchants ran a business with prices like that on a limited eidition item that collectors around the world would kill for.
Well i researched it up by going to every page and checking their feedbacks and items that they are currently selling, stores that are opened, etc...

I found out that some of them had lots of items that they wanted to sell and therefore making a little money on each item ends up making you hundreds at the end of the day if you have an eBay store. Other eBay merchants had a couple cases and were selling it for cheap......
I was one of the first to sell the Limited Edition Disney Coke on eBay and my first auction sold at $36.90 and it was a person from another country, my second auction was around $29.00, my third auction was $23.90, and it kept going down...i had 150 bottles at home. I therefore waited until all the eBayers have sold their coke and then i came back and started my bidding at $15.00 and every auction i held i had at least 1 bid.

Also, at the same time i was selling coke for $15.00 a pack, others were selling the same item for $5.00, i therefore offered the customers a money back guarantee on my item and if they were not satisfied they had 3 days to return the item to me and i also promised to pay half their shipping cost in order to ship it back to me.
People "since they are collectors" cared a lot about the quality of the coke and therefore payed $10 extra to get the warranty that i was offering...check my feedback on eBay, it will tell you how good my items are and the quality of the shrink warped coke will amaze you.
